Nail Tribe
Client Agreement, Booking Policies & Liability Waiver
By booking an appointment with Nail Tribe, I confirm that I am at least 18 years old, have reviewed this agreement, and agree to the following terms.
1. Booking & Deposits
A $20 deposit is required for every appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The deposit is applied toward the service total when the appointment is completed.
If I cancel, reschedule, or fail to attend my appointment, my deposit is forfeited and cannot be applied toward another appointment.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
Nail Tribe reserves appointment times exclusively for each client. I understand and agree to the following fees:
48 hours or more: No additional cancellation fee. The $20 deposit remains non-refundable.
Less than 48 hours but at least 24 hours: 50% of the scheduled service price.
Less than 24 hours: 100% of the scheduled service price.
No-show: 100% of the scheduled service price.
Cancellation and no-show fees are charged in addition to the forfeited $20 deposit. These fees compensate Nail Tribe for reserved appointment time and anticipated losses resulting from late cancellations or missed appointments.
Rescheduling is treated the same as cancellation under these terms.
3. Payment & Card Authorization
By providing a payment method and accepting this agreement, I expressly authorize Nail Tribe to charge the payment method used for my deposit, if securely retained and available through its payment processor, for applicable cancellation or no-show fees.
I understand that:
The applicable fees may be charged without additional approval at the time of cancellation or no-show.
Outstanding balances must be resolved before future appointments.
Nail Tribe may refuse future bookings or require prepayment following late cancellations, no-shows, unpaid balances, or payment disputes.
Payment disputes do not automatically cancel amounts legitimately owed. Nothing in this agreement limits my rights under applicable consumer protection laws or payment-card rules.
4. Late Arrivals
A 10-minute grace period is provided.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened, modified, or canceled appointment.
If Nail Tribe cancels my appointment due to late arrival, my deposit is forfeited and applicable late-cancellation fees may apply.
5. Health & Safety
I agree to disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, skin or nail conditions, infections, injuries, or relevant health concerns before receiving services.
I understand that nail services involve risks, including allergic reactions, irritation, cuts, abrasions, infections, and nail or skin damage.
Nail Tribe may refuse, modify, or discontinue a service if a condition presents a safety concern or makes the service unsuitable.
Nail Tribe does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. I am responsible for seeking medical advice when appropriate.
6. Service Results, Repairs & Aftercare
Results and product longevity vary depending on natural nail condition, lifestyle, maintenance, and aftercare.
Exact replication of inspiration photos and specific wear duration cannot be guaranteed.
I agree to inspect my nails before leaving and report any workmanship concerns within 24 hours of my appointment.
Complimentary repairs or adjustments are offered at Nail Tribe's discretion.
I am responsible for following aftercare instructions and avoiding improper removal, picking, excessive force, or other activities that may damage my nails.
Nail Tribe is not responsible for damage or product failure caused by improper aftercare, external trauma, or other circumstances outside its control.
7. Studio Policies
Nail Tribe does not remove nail enhancements applied by other technicians.
Appointments exceeding six weeks between services may require removal and a new set if necessary for nail health or safety.
Guests, children, and pets are not permitted without prior approval.
Nail Tribe is a private, appointment-only studio. Clients agree not to publicly share or distribute the private studio address without permission.
Respectful conduct is required. Nail Tribe may refuse or discontinue services due to inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, or violations of studio policies.
8. Photography & Security
Nail Tribe may photograph nail service results for internal service records and quality documentation.
The studio uses 24-hour video security monitoring for safety and security purposes. Recording is limited to areas where monitoring is lawful, and footage is handled in accordance with applicable law.
Use of identifiable client photographs or videos for advertising, social media, or other promotional purposes requires separate consent.
9. Personal Property
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. To the extent permitted by law, Nail Tribe is not liable for loss or damage to personal property unless caused by conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Assumption of Risk & Liability
I understand that nail services carry inherent risks, including allergic reactions, skin irritation, nail damage, cuts, and other adverse reactions.
I voluntarily accept the ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with receiving nail services.
To the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law, I release Nail Tribe and its owner, employees, and representatives from claims arising solely from the ordinary and inherent risks of the services I voluntarily receive.
This agreement does not release Nail Tribe from liability that cannot legally be waived, including liability arising from conduct for which a release is prohibited by law.
Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Final Acknowledgment
By checking the agreement box during booking, I confirm that:
I have read and understood this agreement.
I accept Nail Tribe's booking, deposit, cancellation, and studio policies.
I understand that my $20 deposit is forfeited if I cancel, reschedule, or fail to attend.
I understand that cancellation and no-show fees are separate from my deposit.
I authorize applicable charges to my securely stored payment method as described above.
I acknowledge the health, safety, aftercare, and liability terms.
By checking the required agreement box and completing my booking, I electronically indicate my acceptance of these terms and consent to the payment authorizations expressly described in this agreement.
